Job Description / Responsibility
• VARD has been implementing Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS and Malaria (GFATM)- Malaria Control Program in 5 Upazilas of Sylhet, Sunamgonj and Moulvibazar district since June 2007 funded by Global Fund. The Principal Recipient of GFATM Malaria grant is BRAC and under New Funding Model -Malaria Control Program (NFM-MCP) has been implementing from July 2015. The position is based at VARD- NFM-MCP Project Office, Sylhet.
• Job Descriptions:
• Responsible for financial management of the project
• Maintain liaison with the PR
• Ensure maintenance of all books of accounts as per project need and agreement at both central and field level and other related register/books i.c asset register, stock register, salary register etc.
• Prepare financial report and financial statement as required by the PR.
• Organize/coordinate procurement and logistic issues
• Track and monitor expenditures of activities at field level
• Review all monthly expenditure and provide feedback to project manager/upazila manger/program me organizer and supervisor.
• Prepare fund request statement as agreement.
• Support/cooperate PRs internal audit, external audit, financial monitoring, visit by LFA and or other authority.
• Any other activities and report as required by the PR, LFA or GFTAM.

Educational Requirements
Masters in Accounting from any recognized university. Any third class/division in academic career is not eligible. CA CC will be added advantage.

Experience Requirements
At least 3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
• Age At most 35 year(s)
• Minimum 3 years working experience in related field (Accounts)
• Working experience in NGOs/Government/Development organization will be considered as added advantage.
• Adequate knowledge on MS Word and Excel
• Knowledge on accounting software (Tally Software)
