Administrative & Finance Assistant – Netrokona – Voluntary Association for Rural Development

Job Description / Responsibility
• With support Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), Voluntary Association for Rural Development (VARD) a national non- government organization is going to recruit following position for Unique Intervention for Quality Primary Education (UNIQUE II) Project funded by European Commission. The project is implementing in Khaliazuri and Kalmakanda Upazila under Netrokona district and Austagram Upazila under Kishoreganj district. The position is based at Khaliazuri Upazila under Netrokona district.
• Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain regular financial transaction of the Area Office effectively.
• Maintain and prepare financial statement, reports and monitor financial activities at field level
• Ensure compliance of donor.
• Provide administrative and logistic support to project team and General administration.
• Issue cheque and official receipts, maintain books of accounts.
• Assist External / Internal Auditor during their visit.
• Check and verify bills and payments at field level
• Assist procurement team to procure necessary items through requisition preparation and submission
• Ensure maintenance of personal file and others HR records
• Ensure logistic support to the filed team as required
• Perform other duties financial and admin related work of the project under the supervision of Area Manager/ Administrative and Accounts Officer /Project Coordinator.

Educational Requirements
• B.Com/ BBS (Accounting)/ BBA (Accounting/ Finance).
• At least 3 years experience in similar position in any reputed NGO is necessary

• Age 25 to 35 year(s)
• At least 3 years experience in similar position in any reputed NGO is necessary.
• Knowledge about the financial planning, procurement rules & regulation, budget control, VAT & TAX related rules & regulation.
• Sound knowledge in the areas of procurement and office administration
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Computer proficiency on MS Word and MS Excel and Tally software
• Excellent knowledge on record keeping / filing
• Must possess a pleasant, friendly and proactive attitude
