About EKOTA Consortium:
Ekota Bangladesh is a partner of the Church Agency Network Disaster Operation (CAN DO*) in Australia. The Ekota consortium in Bangladesh consists of three partner agencies, – Caritas Bangladesh, Christian Aid and RDRS Bangladesh. Under a broader donor consortium framework, Ekota partners will contribute to the donor efforts to meet humanitarian and protection needs and increase resilience and self-reliance of Rohingya and host communities in Bangladesh. Keeping line with the donor`s expected outcomes Ekota partners will intervene in providing community-based protection and improving WASH facilities in the Rohingya camps, and re-vegetation, disaster risk reduction and livelihood development both in the camps and nearby host communities in Ukhiya Upazila of Cox`s Bazar District.
Job description of the Coordinator is enclosed. The position in the 1st year will be in Christian Aid, Cox Bazar Office. In the 2nd year, the position will be based in Caritas Bangladesh and subsequently to RDRS in the 3rd year.
Job Responsibilities
You will be involved in:
Project planning and coordination to ensure timely and quality implementation of all programme activities
Building trust and harmony among participating agencies
Creating an enabling environment among participating agencies to achieve the goal of the programme
Maintaining open and effective communication amongst the consortium and project team members
Making a difference in the lives of vulnerable people

Additional Requirements
You will thrive as the EKOTA Consortium Coordinator, if you are strong at:
Managing relationship between different stakeholders with respect, integrity and professionalism
Managing complex humanitarian refugee programmes
Managing consortium programmes with high quality and compliance to meet program outcomes.
Good understanding of humanitarian architecture especially of the forcibly displaced people from Myanmar.
Putting marginalised communities at the centre of our decision-making
