General Manager (HR & Compliance) – Debonair Group – Dhaka

Job Description / Responsibility
Candidates must have sound knowledge in HR development issues & will be responsible for leading a team.
The applicants must have sound knowledge in the Bangladesh Labor Law and latest amendment made on Labor Law.
To handle Buyer and conduct audit independently. To prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) after completing of Compliance Audit & keeping all relevant documents. Ensure all compliance issues of a fully compliant Factory both Ethical and Technical on daily basis.
Execute company policies pertaining to compliance programs.
Technical and Quality issues of the Factory for Conducting a Technical Audit with coordination of production team.
Managing & monitoring employee`s health, safety & environmental issues in the entire factory premises. Managing Employee and Labor-Management Relations. Managing Industrial Conflicts (considering the threshold and optimum level).
HR Planning & Development (orientation, training, motivating, career planning). Staffing (recruitment, selection & placement) prior permission from the management.
Managing Compensation & Benefits (developing competitive compensation package).
Attendance & Leave Management. Renewal of license/ agreement & Membership.
To maintain the updated safety & security systems of the factory. Selected candidate must stay in the factory.
Should have sound knowledge on labor low, factories act, fire prevention & fire fighting law & ILO convention related on RMG sector in Bangladesh.
Responsible to make and implement HR & Compliance policies as per local law and different buyers code of conduct
Communicate with BGMEA, Compliance Auditors, Fire & CIvil Defense Department, Labor office, Police station, Local Influences and Labor Federation etc.
To prepare factory for facing different audit such as Accord, Alliance, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, H&M COC Standard , Accord – Alliance, requirement, Socam / C&A, Social, Ethical, Environmental, Technical, Supply chain security (scs), QMS audit.
Ability to work under stress

Educational Requirements
MBA (Major in HRM)/ Post Graduate in any discipline with PGDHRM/ PGDPM from any reputed Institute.

Experience Requirements
10 to 12 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
Age 30 to 45 year(s)
Any previous training on Social Compliance/ Legal/ Environmental standards will be added advantage.
Fluency in spoken & written English is essential.
Drafting both Bengali and English is must.
Computer knowledge is must.
