Chief Executive Officer – Dnet

Job Description / Responsibility
• Promoting the principles and philosophy of social entrepreneurship within the institution and among the stakeholders in Bangladesh and abroad
• Developing business strategies and plans in alignment with short-term and long-term objectives of Dnet
• Leading from the front to make Dnet profitable with set key performance indicators (KPI) as per agreed roadmap
• Leading and motivating teams to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team
• Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
• Managing financial resources to ensure smooth operations of the enterprise
• Making investment decisions to advance the business and increase profits
• Enforcing adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain full compliance and business ethics
• Promoting core values of Dnet among the leaders and staff members through actionable and measurable initiatives
• Maintaining high-standard of financial management with transparency and values of integrity and conscious spending
• Building and maintaining relationship with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders for keeping high respect an good will Dnet already created over the years
• Taking care of leadership development and capacity building of staff members at each tier of management, connected to succession plan
• Maintaining the culture and system of distributed leadership and accountability for instilling sense of ownership
• Playing role in shaping up Dnet’s global agenda in association with Dnet’s Global operation team
• Playing role in promoting the ventures with Dnet’s investment in association with Enterprise team.
• Taking lead in any crisis situation and lead form the front to over the crisis.
• Mainstreaming standard operating procedures ( SOPs) including automation of decision making
• Mainstreaming culture of innovations through deploying system of sharing knowledge and undertaking R&D projects for new services

Job Nature

Educational Requirements
Minimum Master’s degree from any reputed national or international University.

Experience Requirements
• At least 12 year(s)

• Deep knowledge and experience in entrepreneurship
• Deep understanding on technology trends and capacity to ideate new products and services making sense for target market
• Deep knowledge and agility in business development
• Experience in managing matrix structure and large team
• Exposure and capacity to lead global business development
• Personality and Traits:
• Belief and practice in ethics in entrepreneurship, particularly in social entrepreneurship
• Ability to manage complex business relationship with patience
• Orientation to details
• Ability to work under stress and long hours
