Deputy/ Asst. Manager (Chemical Test & Development) – AUKO-TEX GROUP

Job Responsibilities
Testing Follow Up:
Take necessary steps of buyer RSL, physical or others test requirements, arrange sample, send to 3rd party for testing and arrange test report before shipment
TRF Preparation follow up (Buyer Chemical, Physical, Internal & Accessories)
Good communication skill of English for Laboratory correspondence (ITS/SGS/UL/BV/TUV/GEOCHEM)
Monthly & yearly testing cost analysis prepare and presentation.
Communicate with buyer or buying office if needed any query, understanding or requirements
Share knowledge and guidance with Central Testing Laboratory if any improvement needed as per SWOT related to testing
Dyes-Chemical Souring & Development:
Communicate regularly with concern departments in order to purchase & supply dyes-chemical
Work on cost saving initiatives by developing new sources and build long term business relationship to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply.
Follow up delivery of requested materials with supplier in a timely manner.
Collect price quotation from suppliers and submit to top management with CS for Approval.
Work directly with factory lab and R&D team to develop new cost effective and buyer demanding sustainable dyes-chemicals
Monitor and evaluate supplier’s performance in terms of quality and price.
Update vendor data base as per Company Rules.
Garments Accessories/Trims Souring:
Source cost saving accessories and trims of garments to meet the garments costing
Work directly with factory merchandiser to source new accessories before SMS & Bulk Order
Communicate with supplier regarding accessories quality, pricing or further improvement
Ensure and check the buyer requirements of the related trims or accessories
Negotiate with supplier about the pricing & quality and in-house the materials within stipulated time

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
Skills Required: DYEING LAB, Textile Laboratory
Experience Requirements
At least 8 year(s)
