Deputy General Manager – Dhaka – Concord Group

Job Description / Responsibility
Look after the overall administration matters of the company under the guidance of Executive Director (Admin)
Maintain close contact & effective liaison with different govt./semi-govt./private organizations on various issues related to company’s business.
Maintain close relationship with the law enforcing agencies so that in case of emergency the company can have necessary support from them easily.
Ensure appropriate & effective protocol arrangement for the Hon’ble Chairman, his family members and other top management officials of the company.
Arrange collection of different Access Pass from Secretariat, Ministries, Cantonment & other required places for easy access of the top management officials.
Inform management well in advance about the different changes & new government policies, rules & regulations pertinent to the jurisdiction of Admin activities which might affect the business interest of the company, so that appropriate precautionary measures can be thought about accordingly.
Ensure timely renewal & obtain all existing & necessary Licenses/permission/Certificates and other relevant statutory approvals as per requirement of the company.
Asses the organization’s overall security requirements, determine the scope of using in-house and/or outsourced security service in terms of cost and effectiveness & accordingly make recommendation to the management for security deployment.
Respond to any type of unwanted security & safety related incidents which may affect the interest of the organization.
Ensure timely issuance of Proximity Card, corporate mobile SIM & business cards to the eligible employees of the company.
Develop & train a competent in house fire fighting team able to contribute in the area of fire prevention & fire fighting for the company.
Ensure proper maintenance & timely servicing of lift, generators, Air Conditioners & other mechanical equipments at Concord Center.
Maintain a database, monitor & check the day to day expenditure of different corporate units & forward the same for management approval & payment.
Ensure maintenance of cleanliness, tidiness & hygienic environment of the office premises at all times.
Take care of different admin related issues at the Hon’ble Chairman, MD, DMD’s residences and ensure timely payment of various fees/bills/taxes related to utility services, land and or any other issues pertinent to the residences.
Ensure Collection of identity Card, Mobile SIM card, Company vehicle & other important documents/materials from the separated employees which is pertinent to the admin jurisdiction.
Ensure collection of rent from the company tenants from different locations and follow up payment of the utility and other necessary bills.
Any other jobs & tasks assigned from time to time by the department head.

Educational Requirements
MBA in HR/ PGDHRM from reputed institute (Retired Arm forces personnel get preference).

Experience Requirements
At least 10 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
Retired Major or equivalent of Arm forces personnel get preference.
