Manager/ Assistant Manager (Production & Planning) – Tradexcel Ceramics Ltd.

Job Responsibilities
Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation.
Work closely with quality personnel to review product consistency while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement.
Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible..
Monitor operational expenses and explore ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
Work closely in the Environmental Health and Safety aspects to ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees.
Maintain inventory levels and control flow of product from our vendors and suppliers.
Analyze workforce requirements.
Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all employees.
Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment.
Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.
Communicate with R&D as well as Marketing to develop new product strategies.
Work with Procurement/Supply Chain/Commercial to develop and improve supplier relations.
Maintain security system and access readers.
Ensure that all compliance are maintained.
To follow the guideline of the mechanical and electrical in charges regarding the operation of the machine.
Supervises employees in the every steps of manufacturing of product to ensure safety, quality & productivity.
Monitors usage of utilities to ensure efficiency of operations.
To conduct training of new or existing employees if needed.
To maintain production records.
To report the higher Management regarding the shift operation and productivity.
To ensure the presence of the allocated manpower in each shift in all departments.

Educational Requirements
Diploma in Ceramic Engineering with good academic track record.
Experience Requirements
5 to 8 year(s)

The applicants should have experience in the area(s): Factory/ Plant / Production/ Operation & Maintenance.
The applicants should have experience in the business area(s): Ceramic Bricks Manufacturing Industry.
Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Access) to analyses data and trends.
Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills.
Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills.
A minimum of 5 years experience in the operation of a process manufacturing plant required, preferably in an ceramic bricks manufacturing plant is required.
Strong Organization and planning skill.
Practical experience in PLC programming and setup different programming compatible with other brand of PLC & PLC based control panel.
Should have PLC system programming skill with troubleshooting of PLC System for ceramic brick manufacturing machineries or any ceramic product manufacturing machineries.
