Job Responsibilities
Preparing documents as per L/C terms & conditions and follow up till the return of the value of the documents.
Making sure “Insurance Coverage Note”, PI, and all such other documents meet all the formalities and requirements as specified by the banks for L/Cs
Issuing LC collects from line Bank & send to the supplier.
Follow up with banks for each and every transaction of the company and ask for vouchers from banks for that transaction.
Preparing the import shipping documents/shipping guarantee/bank endorsement
Follow up LC shipment, import documents collect from Line Bank & send to Chittagong or Airport for realizing goods.
Collect Insurance premium bill against import LC from insurance
Handling C&F agent for related import matters.
Check all Import documents required at different levels (e.g. Commercial invoice, Packing List, Delivery Challan / Truck Receipt, Country of Origin, other certificates).
Monitoring Invoice and Bill Payment.
Prepare regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Handling import transport from Chittagong port, Dhaka Airport, Benapole Port
Communication and update the concerned store accordingly.
Update the stock position against import under entitlement with the store.
Vehicle program provide to C&F agent properly and timely as per import consignment.
Maintain duplicate files of each and every delivery or shipped item and time to time provide an update to the management.
Verify export documents for compliance with local and international regulations, liaise with clients and perform logistical tasks.
Communicate with the bank to ensure confirmation of Export L/C at a competitive price and timely collection of Proceeds Realization Certificate (PRC)
Prepare invoice, packaging list, EXP based on factory provided packaging list and duly certified by the bank and send to the C&F office
Maintain Communication with the C&F office to complete the export process and collect necessary documents after custom pass.
Keep contact with shipping line/ forwarder to get the onboard status of the cargo and follow up the process
Collect dummy B/L, AWAB from shipping line/ air forwarded for GSP and CO
Release original B/L, AWAB from shipping line/ air forwarder after vessel sailing.
Maintain proper liaison with Govt. Officials, C&F Agents, Concerned Agencies, Trade Bodies, Banks, Shipping Line, Insurance Companies, VAT department, Production Department, Transport Agents for Export & Import purpose, etc.

Masters, MBA from any UGC approved reputed University.
Advanced certification in procurement/import/export will be treated as added advantage
