Job Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for making an effective monthly production plan/ advance plan of the orders in consultation and coordination with Marketing and Merchandising, production head, & management team.
• Reviewing production plant with capacity and strength along with ensuring timely shipment through strong production follow-up.
Order status monitoring & regularly scheduled meeting with Merchandising, production & fabrics department for order Planning & proper line allocation of the styles.
Ensure accurate & optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability.
Always be updated on production status whether it is meeting the production plan or not, if not then make a root cause analysis and give a quick solution for a smooth operation.
Building relationship with merchandising department & Production people (store, cutting, sewing, finishing & printing) for smooth operation.
Manage production planning staff and scheduling of raw material to meet production schedules.
Study and record time and motion, methods, and speed involved in performance of production, maintenance, and other worker operations for such purposes as establishing standard production rates or improving efficiency.
Evaluate staff performance, new operator’s skill assessment, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career developments.
Responsible for the entire production and IE related functions for the entire operation including knitting, dyeing, and sewing, print and ensure on time shipment;
Prepare & implement line allocation based on business requirement;
Forecast delay situation and future bottle necks and take precaution accordingly;
Plugging orders in productive way to ensure optimum utilization of capacity and maintain live production plans;
Follow up and monitor pre-production events and support to achieve on target time frame.
Create Draft Plan for next month’s production as per Master plan;
Maintain order recap for various buyer as per projection and get confirmation from buyer.
Training production staff on efficiency
Wastage control
Prepare regular loss time
Prepare regular SMV calculation
Calculate WIP of lines
Method Study + Method development
Motion Study
Monitoring and optimize machine Productivity
Update daily production by “plan vs actual production” and informing concerns about meeting goals of the production plan.
