Site Disinfection Supervisor (COVID-19 Response) – Terre des hommes – Cox’s Bazar

Job Context
Under the direct management of the WASH Activity Coordinator, defining, coordinating and monitoring the disinfection and hygiene promotion activities according to protocols, standards and procedures in order to ensure the delivery of qualitative COVID-19 emergency response in the area of intervention.

Job Responsibilities
Coordinating, assessing and supervising the proper functioning of disinfection and hygiene promotion activities, according to protocols, standards and procedures and through the correct compilation and analysis data.
Participating in the follow up of the project. Supervising and ensuring that project activities objectives under his/her responsibility are achieved.
Ensuring all assigned duties are carried out, and that resources are efficiently utilized according to protocols and standards.
Checking all administrative and logistics procedures related to the project activities are carried out correctly and according to Tdh procedures.
In coordination with the Site Logistics Officer, supervising and monitoring the rational and appropriate use of consumables (disinfection products, PPE, etc.) and devices and anticipating future needs. Preparing orders needed to implement the project activities under his/her responsibility, and identifying and reporting to the WASH Activity Coordinator extra support needs.
Coordinating and monitoring the daily working plan of the team under his/her responsibility.
Planning and supervising, in close coordination with the WASH Activity Coordinator, the associated processes (recruitment, training, performance evaluation, development and internal communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to improve staff capabilities and to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required.
Support training, help in identifying specific training needs and arranging training plans in cooperation with WASH Activity Coordinator.
Participating in and gathering data for the daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Reporting to WASH Activity Coordinator changes in project activities that require immediate or planned action.
Reporting to WASH Activity Coordinator any adverse events occurring within 12 hours of the event occurring.
Maintaining regular coordination and communication with all stakeholders and WASH Sector.
This list of activities is not exhaustive and additional activities may be requested by Tdh management according to the needs of the project.

Educational Requirements
Minimum of B.Sc in Civil Engineering/Master’s degree
Experience Requirements
3 to 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements
Proven management experience with (I)NGO in relief context (3 to 5 years)
Proven experience in the WASH sector with hygiene promotion component (3 to 5 years)
Ability to work independently and to take initiative to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Proficient in written and spoken English
Fluency in the local language will be considered as a plus
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
Excellent organization and communication skills
Professionalism and thoroughness
