Junior Executive – Garments Operations – Pride Group

Job Description / Responsibility
Works with planning & material control manager to prepare tentative Cutting & Sewing production plan which is finalized in SBU’s planning
Checks whether technical information is conveyed properly to route level in case of both new lay and any changes
Gives technical support to garments planning coordinator in executing supermarket plan
Coordinate implementing balanced layout and reducing changeover time by team leaders, job trainers and IE as proposed by IE department
Will do close monitoring of required efficiency, quality (rejection, recheck & rework rate) and shipment date
Attain targets of discipline of the floor (workers turnover rate, no of cases of conflicts, absenteeism rate, and late attendance rate)
Communicates with garments maintenance engineer to get feedback about maintenance functions so that production runs smoothly
Takes analytical support from business analysis team in order to be clarified so that he can identify root causes to achieve the target of COPQ-Cost of Poor Quality and CPM-Cost per min and take initiatives
Review wastage level and reduce the wastage through improvement of production
Maintain cutting & sewing SOP
