Deputy Manager – Fundraising and Partnerships – Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center – Dhaka

Job Responsibilities
Identify and track fundraising opportunities e.g., call for proposals (CFP/RFP) and request for submission of EOIs from different bilateral, multilateral, and other donor organizations
Identify opportunities for partnership through networking, advocacy, and policy work
Build relationships with potential funding partners and work with them to design project proposals and budgets, drawing on expertise from across the organization as required
Manage the team members, provide technical support, and monitor daily activities
Develop strategies for successful engagement with donors and key stakeholders including public and private sectors
Lead the fundraising activities in relation to drafting, consolidating, and reviewing project concept notes, and technical and financial proposals
Develop and implement a private sector fundraising strategy to manage sponsorship for events and programs
Explore and contribute to strategic decisions in relation to developing alternative income streams
Develop new partnerships and manage current engagements including identifying and building relationships with prospective collaborative partners on bids
Coordinate with all the program teams and other relevant teams to design new program activities and events
Develop communication materials to showcase our services and success stories
Communicate BYLC’s value proposition to potential donors and partners through presentations and writeups
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or senior management team

Educational Requirements
Master of Development Studies (MDS) in Economics
Skills Required: Communication, creativity and innovation, Negotiation Skills, Presentation skill, Report Writing, Teamwork skills

Experience Requirements
At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

Excellent ICT skills, demonstrable numerical and budgetary skills, including preparing fundraising budgets and proficient use of excel and spreadsheets
