Job Description / Responsibility
To work closely with merchandisers, customers and factories by actively participate to R&D Concepts by contributing new ideas, pinpointing new product trends, textile technologies and knowledge best sales opportunities, so as to translating new concepts into commercially visible designs within the set requirements and aim to maximize overall sales performance.
To support and handle sourcing & development of new qualities, co-ordinate with the Yearn, to ensure products are developed appropriately and buyer satisfaction is exceeded.
To assist the merchandisers in presenting new season collection by supporting the buyer meetings and promotional events, to increase buyer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
To attend the local and international trade shows, travel to supplier and/or vendors to report on new innovation and development back to merchandisers and buyers.
To prepare the showroom & product presentations for customer visits to showcase the abilities of the market and increase customer awareness
Researching and developing new ranges to compliment and drive forward the existing product.
Research and identify new products and raw materials for range and feedback to the Management.
Use knowledge of manufacturing processes & raw materials to ensure that samples are developed in the appropriate orders allocated accordingly

Bachelor of Arts/ Graduation in Fashion Design, Textile or Clothing from Home and Abroad.

Experience Requirements
2 to 3 year(s)

Buying House, Garments, Sweater Industry

Additional Job Requirements
Good background and knowledge of Yarn and Materials Sourcing & Development, Garment Construction and Sample Development in the area of flat knit, Jacquard knit.
Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint with the ability to convey information and product inspiration in a visually compelling and on-brand format
Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Customer needs analysis
Strong sense of fashion and curiosity.
Creative, self-initiative, independent and good market and fashion sense.
