Executive – Supply Chain – MBM Group – Dhaka

Job Responsibilities
Receiving & understanding the requirements / requisitions / indents / Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
Preparing the Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents for suppliers / vendors / service providers, to obtain technical and commercial offers / proposals / quotations.
Arranging site visit for suppliers / vendors / service providers, as per requirements of the work nature.
Negotiating prices with suppliers / vendors / service providers to get a better business deal.
Preparing Comparative Statement (CS) considering both technical and commercial aspects.
Analyzing previous data and performing Cost Benefit Analysis, to keep organizational interest.
Receiving approval from Senior Management against each CS to issue Purchase Orders (PO) / Work Orders (WO) / contracts / agreements.
Preparing & issuing PO / WO / contracts / agreements, as per approved template of the organization.
Sharing PO / WO / contracts / agreements with different stakeholders both internal and external.
Following up with suppliers / vendors / service providers about on-time delivery and service performance.
Arranging Pre-Shipment Inspection at suppliers’ / vendors’ sites before delivery.
Arranging and participating in different meetings with suppliers / vendors /service providers, as per requirements of the department.
Attending on-spot / physical purchases, as and when required.
Inserting new terms and conditions for the greater interest of the organization at the time of negotiations with suppliers / vendors / service providers.
Introducing teams to suppliers / vendors / service providers, as per requirement of the organization.
Arranging all advance payments against PO / WO / contracts / agreements, by coordinating with the Finance & Accounts team.
Timely updating all data related with supply chain management in the system.
Compiling all relevant documents, and providing the documents to the preservation team for further usage.

Educational Requirements
Bachelors / Masters in any discipline, from any reputed university.
Preferred Professional Certification: PGD in Supply Chain Management
Skills Required: Internet browsing & online work ability., MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word

Experience Requirements
3 to 4 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
BOQ, Comparative Statement, price negotiation, RFQ, Suppliers and Vendor Management

Additional Requirements
Age at most 28 years
The candidate must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of work experience on SCM in related industry.
