Project Coordinator – SPECS – Symbiosis Bangladesh – Dhaka

Job Responsibilities
• Coordinating and overseeing the overall field operation and report to the Country Office and donor focal.
• Mobilizing data for preparation of required reports and ensuring to submit those in timely manner.
• Working closely with stakeholders and field offices and have frequent visit to the implementation areas.
• Providing accompaniment support to the project team & partners’ team to strengthen implementation for achieving outcome.
• Taking appropriate strategies to strengthen different stakeholders’ group (primary women groups, adolescent groups, and community social leaders).
• Maintaining good communication practices with the core team at Country Office, Dhaka and side by side donor focal point.
• Provide leadership, implementation and phase out of the projects achieving goal and outcomes of the projects mobilizing staff, facilitators and other resources, while ensuring that the donors and partners reporting requirements.
• Provide training, mentorship and guidance to project-based staff and ensure vision center management standards are in practice.
• Coordinate and organize technical events, meetings, trainings, workshops and dialogues as per project needs.
• Provide high level supervisory and managerial support to the project team for developing their technical skills and professional competencies.
• Monitor the door-to-door survey for ABFVP, validate the survey results, helping the team to arrange health class and mobile eye clinic program.
• Undertake any other assignments as may be requested or delegated by the supervisor and the Country Office management teams.

Master of Science (MSc)
Having Vision Technician Course will be an additional qualification

Experience Requirements
1 to 3 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Excellent communication skill, MICROSOFT OFFICE, Reporting and Documentation, typing skill in English and Bangla

Age 30 to 45 years

• Have time management, leadership, analytical ability, multitasking, facilitation; communication, presentation and report writing skills;
• Have adaptability, teamwork, relationship building and change management skills;
• Previous experience of working in Avoidable Blindness Free Village Program
• Excellent command on MS Word, MS PowerPoint; very good command on MS Excel. Have outstanding skills and expertise at communicating by email and internet.
• High level English language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
