Job Responsibilities
Ensure nationwide smooth distribution & customer service.
Monitor the inventory level and allocate stock for all depots to meet up with uninterrupted product supply to the customer.
Develop a self-monitoring system to reduce distribution costs and minimize return.
Coordination with Sales & Marketing, Finance & Accounts, and Production Department.
Develop various reports for Sales & Marketing, Finance & Accounts, and Distribution Dept.
Prepare route plan & priority setup for supply product to the customer.
Submit monthly/weekly requisition of product and maintain minimum stock level.
Deliver goods by their scheduled dates and minimize costs, distribution managers look at the available transportation options. Monitoring and analyzing transportation costs to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
Direct the activities of logistics division and collaborate with marketing executives to ensure that new products reach the right markets at the optimal time.
Conduct market research to learn about the demand for different goods and decide appropriate quantities of items to stock.
Managing and supervising the work of distribution and transportation staff, including drivers and dispatchers.
Developing and maintaining relationships with transportation providers and suppliers.
Visit different markets for the justification of delivery cost.
Monitors the costs of storage and distribution, and provide reports to the company’s finance and marketing team.
Communicate with dealers and sales person for dispatch.
Check if Finished Goods are arranged in FIFO method.
Check for Customer’s return product, shade replace, slow/ nonmoving products.
Any other responsibilities assigned by management.

Educational Requirements
Masters/ MBA in Logistics Management/ Supply Chain Management/ Management/ Accounting
PGDSCM/ CIPS/ Diploma in logistics management is preferred.
