Being the manager of Carbon and Energy management at the country level, he / she will report to the country management executives and in parallel to the Environmental Sustainability Council.
Implement Youngone energy and carbon management policy.
Manage energy efficiency and carbon emissions targets.
Ensuring legal compliance requirement(s) related to energy and carbon.
Adopt and manage requirements given by customers when needed as a priority.
Carry out regular internal assessment/review of all legislative and legal aspects across the local sites.
Maintain good quality and verifiable energy and carbon data in the corporate GHG inventory.
Responsible for improving energy efficiency in production processes and system by making required SOPs.
Maintain and update energy performance improvement plan (PIP) on a regularly basis.
Provide guidance and leadership to the CSR members and support them to manage customers audits/programs.
Plan, develop and deploy regular energy management team meeting at the country level.
Organize regular internal energy & carbon management trainings.
Work and coordinate with other sites’ engineers to support the council to improve the company’s energy and carbon management strategy as well as implementation plan.
Bachelor or Master degree (or above) in engineering or related subject from any reputed University.

Age at least 37 years
At least 10 years’ working experience with solid track record in carbon and energy management in the manufacturing sector or textile and garment industry.

Good knowledge or experience in textile industry will be an advantage.
Change-management and mission-oriented mindset driven.
Demonstrate good/deep knowledge and hands-on experience on GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, SBT and CDP.
Experience in management certification and system implementation such as ISO 50001 EnMS and ISO 14001 EMS.
Excellent knowledge in energy and carbon compliance in textile, garment and footwear industry.
Demonstrate good understanding of Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) including onsite and offsite Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) management.
Proven track record in providing effective project and program results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
Good use of English language
Experience in software application in energy and caron management (or other enterprise management software such as ERP) will be an advantage.
